
Kjetil Stake
Managing Director
Mr. Kjetil Stake is the Managing Director of The Sahara Forest Project Foundation and holds an MA in Economics from the College of Europe and a BA in International Economics from The American University of Paris. Mr. Stake has experience in business development and start-ups. He previously served as Managing Director for The Brussels Office, advising a large number of companies on energy and environmental affairs. Fields of competence include European affairs, business policies, and regulation and he is an experienced international speaker on Energy and Environment affairs.

Magnus Borgen
Director of Institutional Relations and Communication
Mr. Magnus Borgen is Director of Institutional Relations and Communication at the Sahara Forest Project Foundation. He is educated as a political scientist at the University of Oslo. He started in SFP in 2016, previously holding the position of Head of Communications at the Bellona Foundation. He worked as a part of the Bellona management team for seven years. Borgen previously worked as a journalist and contributed to several Norwegian and international media outlets with written articles and research for TV documentaries. He is also the author of one book.

Blaise Jowett
Site Manager and Head Grower
Mr. Blaise Jowett is the Site Manager and Head Grower based in Aqaba, Jordan and has a B.Sc. Agriculture from the University of KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. He has worked on large horticultural projects in Zimbabwe, Uganda and Oman growing numerous vegetable and floricultural crops and has fresh-produce supply chain experience in the UK.
